Jan Horwath

Jan Horwath has a social work background and worked as a social worker, trainer and manager in a variety of settings. Since entering academia she has researched and written on a range of topics including child neglect, the management of child protection systems, assessment practice and fabricated and induced illness in children. Her work has informed government guidance in a number of countries. Her recent books include: The Child's World the Comprehensive Guide to Assessing Children in Need.
