Tim Bale

Tim Bale is Professor of Politics at Queen Mary, University of London. Formerly the co-editor of the European Journal of Political Research's Political Data Yearbook (Wiley), he is a winner of the Political Studies Association's Bernard Crick prize for Outstanding Teaching, and its W.J.M. Mackenzie prize. Tim writes for the Financial Times, the Guardian, and the Telegraph, and he has appeared on various BBC programmes. His books include European Politics (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013) and The Conservatives since 1945 (Oxford University Press, 2012). He tweets @ProfTimBale.
