A plastic apron and gloves should be worn. When using sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDDC):
  • Leave the powder or granules in contact with the fluid for two minutes
  • Scoop up the debris with disposable wipes
  • Discard everything in a yellow plastic bag for incineration
  • Clean the area with water and detergent
Ensure that ventilation is optimal during this procedure, as NaDDC may release chlorine, which is toxic.
