Environmental Science in Building

Seventh edition

by Randall McMullan

Errata list for the seventh edition

It is sometimes stated that books should never contain production errors, that standards are falling and that shortcuts are being made. As an author I am always impressed by the checking systems of publishers and don’t see any less effort being made over the various editions of the book. And I have observed that most examination systems regularly produce the papers with errors, despite great rigour of checking systems.

We have never let any significant text errors through the system, but a technical book full of special symbols and formulas and oddities of layout is many times more challenging to check than a publication that is simply prose; like the complete works of Charles Dickens! I do take ultimate responsibility, but also ask for understanding.
