CHRIS MULHEARN is Reader in Economics in the Liverpool Business School at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. His work has been published in a number of journals including: Local Economy; Industrial Relations Journal; Journal of Economic Perspectives; Journal of Economic Studies; World Economics; and World Economy. Howard R. Vane
HOWARD R. VANE is Emeritus Professor of Economics in the Liverpool Business School at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. His main research interests lie in the area of macroeconomics and his work in this field has been translated and published in Bulgarian, Chinese, French, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian and Polish. He has co-authored/edited thirty books and has had articles published in a wide range of journals including: American Economist; Journal of Economic Methodology; Journal of Economic Perspectives; Journal of Economic Studies; Journal of Macroeconomics; World Economics; and World Economy.
