Finding internships in specific sectors
Internships in each job area are advertised on a wide range of websites. Firms in some sectors such as accountancy advertise numerous organised placements whilst many in other industries such as publishing expect you to apply on spec.

Activity: Self-assessment
There are lots of ways to gain experience. You could volunteer, join a student society or help at a summer camp, to name just a few. Use this activity to identify opportunities which you could undertake.
