She has a keen interest in commissioning interdisciplinary and international work across the field, particularly in the areas new media, popular culture, memory studies, gender, cultural industries, media policy, film and television studies, political communication, journalism and environmental and development communication.

Shaun acquires in the areas of Film Studies, Cultural Studies, Media Studies, and Theatre/Performance Studies. Shaun studied History and Literature with a focus in Cultural and Media Studies at Harvard University.

Chris draws on both his academic background in Film Studies and his passion for all things cinematic to commission the very best film and television monographs, collections and handbooks. His current interests are documentary studies, the overlap between science and popular culture, industry studies, film philosophy, and adaptation studies, though he welcomes correspondence with any author ‘who’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse’.
