Macmillan International Higher Education and Springer are working together to increase the reach and visibility of Springer’s prestigious list of Computer Science textbooks. Springer publish many prominent journals in Computer Science, including a number of fully open access journals. Their textbook and eBook portfolio comprises of textbooks and major reference works from distinguished authors, such as recipients of the Turing Award.
This list cover the essentials all students need including Programming, Databases and Networks, but titles also expand to more cutting edge technology; such as Cloud Computing, Multimedia and Games Programming. Well-known textbooks include The Algorithm Design Manual by Steven Skiena, Computer Vision: Algorithms and Applications by Richard Szeliski and Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning by Christopher Bishop.
