He teaches media law and ethics to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and his research focuses on the critical evaluation of media and communications industries, regulation, media ethics and policy. He is the author of Media Convergence(2010) and the co-editor (with Virginia Nightingale) of New Media Worlds: Challenges for Convergence(2007).
