Macmillan International Higher Education's license agreements are legal documents protecting the rights of our customers ('the Licensee') and Macmillan International Higher Education ('the Licensor'). Every customer is required to sign a license agreement at the start of their site license. Addendums may be used to add additional publications to an agreement or to extend the license period, or when policy changes are required.

Our license agreements include terms requested by libraries from the academic, corporate and government sectors. Agreements have been developed to protect the rights of our customers and to grant rights to use content in ways specific to an electronic resource and closest to traditional print usage. Please contact us for the license agreement if you are considering a purchase so that you can review it.

Certain clauses do vary according to the product but where possible the content and terms are consistent. Geographical regions use different agreements to comply with regional law.

Macmillan International Higher Education works with consortia of various types and sizes and welcomes discussion with all consortium managers.

The consortium should sign one license agreement and pay through one invoice; if this is not possible for your consortium, please contact us.

The benefits for the consortium include discounts on list price. Members have the flexibility to select the publications they want to include, or Macmillan International Higher Education will work with the consortium to create customized packages.

Print subscriptions are not included in consortia negotiations.

If you have specific questions, please contact your Sales Representative.
