Red Globe Press
Educating the World
Red Globe Press is an imprint of Macmillan, a company with deep historic roots, publishing its first books in 1843. Red Globe Press stands for high quality publishing, specialising in textbooks for Higher Education students across the world, primarily in Social Sciences, Business and Management, Humanities and Study Skills.
After 17 years publishing under the Palgrave imprint, Red Globe Press was born in 2018. Our approach to educational publishing embraces new ideas and technological developments but remains focused on crafting quality content that closely aligns with university level courses and student needs. We utilise great design, and produce tailored support resources for students and academics. We publish market leading textbooks in Business, Politics, Study Skills and Social Work, and offer great breadth and depth in Psychology, Economics, and the Humanities, key titles in Law, Modern Languages and Engineering, and texts by the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Our globe logo is a modern version of one of the logos used by Macmillan in the nineteenth century and our current books build on the success of the outstanding titles established under our previous imprints, Macmillan Press and Palgrave. Our first study skills title, Cottrell’s The Study Skills Handbook, published under the Macmillan Press imprint in 1999, remains the UK’s bestselling textbook in any subject. Through such textbooks, Red Globe Press helps many thousands of students to succeed in their studies by encouraging discovery and fostering individual learning.
Our editorial team actively commission core textbooks, and teaching and learning resources, which are chosen by academics all around the world for university students to use in their classes.
