Your manuscript has been submitted and your book is publishing soon – congratulations! What happens next?

Here at Macmillan International Higher Education we have a dedicated team of sales and marketing professionals who will be working to promote your new book to the right audience. We use a range of digital and print channels and work very closely with our global field Sales Team to generate sales opportunities and make sure your book is adopted on suitable courses.

Find out more about how your book will be promoted and get involved by browsing the following resources:

An Author's Guide to Marketing >

This guide:
- Outlines the key activities we will undertake to promote your book
- Explains our strategy and our key channels and methods
- Offers tips and suggestions about what you can do to help promote your book
- Will help you to understand the marketing journey of your book from conception to publication and beyond

Suggest lecturers to receive sample copies of your book >

Please complete this form to suggest the names and contact details of those people who you think are likely to advise their students to purchase your book. We will contact these people, inviting them to request a free lecturer inspection copy. Please note, we only offer inspection copies of our books to individuals where there is a likelihood of a book being adopted as a course textbook.

Suggest publications to review your book >

Please complete this form to provide names and contact details for the publications or websites you think most likely to review your book (suggestions for specialist journals, newsletters, websites or blogs are the most useful). Note that we may not send out review copies to all the publications you suggest. In particular, we restrict the number of publicity copies sent to national newspapers.
Reviews of your book are always a good promotion tool. Please do share them with your editor, as we don’t always get to hear of these. We can often use positive reviews in our marketing campaigns. Also if you receive a positive response to your book from peers and students, you might want to encourage them to post these on Amazon.
