TERMS AND CONDITIONS; SURVEY PRIZE DRAW

  1. The promoter of this prize draw is Palgrave, Macmillan Education (the 'Promoter'). The Promoter is a publisher of educational books and is a division of Macmillan Publishers Limited. These terms and conditions govern the prize draw. The Promoter's principal place of business is at The Macmillan Building, 4 Crinan Street, London, N1 9XW.
  2. All entrants must be over 16 years of age at the date of entry. The eligibility of any entrant is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Employees, families or agents of the Promoter and/or any of its associated companies are not eligible to enter the prize draw. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  3. No purchase necessary. To enter the prize draw, entrants must complete survey and submit their details before the closing date of 30th April 2016.
  4. The winner will be selected at random and will be notified in writing (via the email address given by the winner at the time of entering the prize draw) by no later than Wednesday the 4th of May 2016. This notification shall include details of how the winner may claim the prize.
  5. The prize must be claimed within 14 days of the notification date. If the prize goes unclaimed by the winner for more than 14 days after the winner has been notified via email, the winners shall forfeit their prizes.
  6. Details of winners may be obtained by writing to the address above (subject to applicable data protection and privacy laws).
  7. Two winners shall be selected. The Prize shall be Palgrave hard copy books (hardback or paperback) up to a value of £100 (one hundred pounds sterling), such books to be selected by the winner. All books are subject to availability. The prize shall be despatched via standard post.
  8. The Promoter may at its sole discretion (though we will endeavour to avoid unnecessary disappointment) substitute any prize for a prize of a similar nature and/or comparable value.
  9. The Promoter will not be liable if a prize cannot be taken by a winner for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter.
  10. The winners may be announced on our website on or shortly after the close of the prize draw.
  11. By entering the prize draw, all entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, change the dates of entry into the prize draw and/or the dates on which the prize draw will be promoted and the Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw these Terms and Conditions and/or the prize draw without prior notice.
  12. The terms and conditions of any third party supplier may apply and must be accepted and complied with by the winner.
  13. The Promoter will at all times comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
  14. Other than for death or personal injury arising from negligence of the Promoter, so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter hereby excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused in connection with
    the prize draw or any aspect of the prize.
  15. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction. Please note that the offer to participate in this prize draw does not extend to persons resident in countries where local, state, provincial or national laws prohibit the promotion of, operation of or participation in the prize draw.
